I know I know. I slacking on the blog updates... but to be honest I've been fairly busy. I've been working on a new project for the past few days called wilburs travels. Its a great travel show that is aired on the local television station. Its a show that documents an elderly mans trips around the world. What I've been doing is putting them on the web for him and making his website and setting up his livestream channel. I know I event postedin a while...

But I've been busy. I've been working on my car game app to add multiplayer to the game. But only to the pro version. Also I've been working on a new site http://appservice.cmoney12051.com it's gonna be crazy. Check it out. Also I will try and have that update out tonight.

What day is it?

I've been so busy with stuff I've completely lost track of time. All last week was like a blur to me. It just came and went like no ones business! But this is a new week and I fully intend to make good use of it. I've got some android stuff to work on and hopefully ill start selling some more apps! Hopefully.

New stuff!

Been working on basically just updates for my android apps the past few days. Nothing really special going on. Been thinking about doing a reminder app or someting but not sure if I can work it out. Just an idea im currently tossing around in my dome. Also started work on my first fps for pc. This will be my first real pc game, so far I only have one level and a cutscene. It took me two days to create 5min of gameplay lol. This is gonna be a long one.

What to do?

For this first time in a while im actually at a loss of what to do. I want to make something but im not sure if I should. More testing must be done.

Two new apps in the market!

One is called web2sms which basically allows you to send and receive text messages online. Its awesome lol, the market link is on my site. Uggg

I've been slacking :( and im sorry lol. I've been busy just not on the blog lol. I've been doing alot of work on my website like working on the fish game profile pages and starting another new project. I'm currently working on a texting app called Web2SMS. Basically it Leta people log into my website and then send and revive texts on it. Usisng an app that I'm working on with app inventor. What will happen is they will download the app and make an account. Then whenever the app is running in the foreground it will upload any incomming text to the site on the users profile page. Then from there they will be able to send a reply or new message to someone. It will relay that message from the site to their phone and send it out on it's way. It's pretty crazy lol. But I can't wait to get it out on the market. Hopefully soon. So see you next post!

Alot of cool new updates to my virtual pet app

Alot of the recent updates to the all have been to intergrate the app to my website. Like synchronizeing the health money and fish. Also now it has the market on tue site too. Check it out on my site and the new app updates on the market.

But I have been keeping busy. I've been working on a few different projects. Like my new android racing game with online scoreboard, and my new web based mmorpg. And I've been active on the app inventor group. Also I've been working on an app for a contacting company. And im about to start another project lol. Been busy

Well now that all the isues with my phone are taken care of, I am finally able to get back to business.  And my latest project has been to create an mmorpg on my site. And I have started that. Finally back in business!

Well for the past few days my droid x has been on the fritz, going super slow and just in general pissing me off. So I went ahead and flashed it back to 2.2 and so far all has been good with it. What had happened was I flashed the new gingerbread release from team black hat, and at first it was great, then shit hit the fan. But now after I have re flashed it all seems well. now onto website business. I recently added a new diqus feature to the site, and am currently working on adding a temporary email service. Also im now working on a new android project. Hopefully ill have some good luck with this one.

Lazy day today.

I successfuly accomplished nothing important today. Other than start work on a new app idea, which im probably waisting my time on since its been done to death lol. Oh well.

Added a qr code generator

To my app repo. Now people who upload the app can go and generate a qr code on my site, download it then re upload it to your page. Its a bit of extra work, but for now it works. Hopefully I can work on it some more and perhaps streamline it a bit more.

Website updates... again

Did a few updates to the repo. Like fixed up the edit page and added ability to upload app updates. More to come.

Still working on my site

I think i can honestly say that the $10.56 investment I made last year and this year is honestly one of the best i could ever have made. That investment is my website. http://cmoney12051.com I know i hear a lot of bad stuff about GoDaddy but honestly i have no real problems with them. I mean i pay basically $10.50 a for a years worth of hosting, a free email for my domain, and of course the domain name. All for a whole year. then the next year i just pay the $10.50 again and I'm all set. Only thing that kinda sucks is the mandatory ads that they out on the page, but oh well. I mean they give away a lot so i guess i can kinda expect something. Anyway i love it. I can seriously spend hours a day just doing improvements/adding stuff to it. Like my most recent project is this App Repo. I know there are a lot of them out there, but i just want to make my own. I don't care if no one ever uses it, i just wanted to make my own. And i am well on my way. Today i added comments to the app pages, and a share on Facebook button for people who are vising the apps page. I plan on adding auto qr creation as well. Well now that my internet is restored

I was finally able to get some work done! O finished that ticket tax toe tutorial and did some updates to my repo.

Well even with no internet i still DO WORK!

Its been bugging me all day to make a few small updates to the repo I put up last night on my site. So I figured I should just find a way and do them. So I got an ftp app off the market and did them right from my phone. Itbwas tough but I got it done. Now I can sleep in peace. What would I do without my droid x?

Well, ive been busy!

I started up a new forum support system called cmoneys android help center. There is a link to it on my site. And all weekend I have been working on it making improvements and adding tapatalk functionality aswell as forumrunner. And I setup a mobile style so people without apps can still make good use of the site. And through all that I still manger to do a new tutorial for someone on how to make a presentation app and update my sonic satam app. And even squeezed time in for a movie. Finally saw battle la. A.d let me tell you. Its definitely worth seeing. A very good movie indeed. So check out my new forums and go watch battle la. Do them both at the same time,  I don't care lol, just do them!

Well I've been busting ass at work all day and can't wait to get home. I got alot of android shit and house work I need to do. I wannt do an update tonite for my new sonic app. Also new jersey shore tonite! Yahooooo!

Ive been thinking bout my mmorpg app...

And I know I have been putting it off alot lately. But I've been thinking alot about it these past few days and I think I may have come up with an idea. Im gonna do a few more things to it then try and release it on time. And now here is the catch. At first it will be completely free. Download, registration, and playing will all be completely free. All I ask in return will be some feedback. Looking for ideas, peoples feelings on the app and some motivation. Then after a while, roughly a month, im going to change up the registration so you will have to purchase a key for $0.99 using paypal. But everybody that downloads and registers before I make that change will be able to keep using the app for free and will not loose any of there game progress. Im doing this in hopes it will motivate me to work more on the app and get the ball rolling a bit with it. Hopefully it will work, fingers crossed ...

App idea!

Since fus is still down, and the bank checking app is on the side burner moving along slowly. I came up with the idea for another app. Ill have more details on it in the coming days. Hopefully it will be a good one.

So tired of this snow!

As most of you may know, its crazy here in new York. Snow just wont stop. And im absolutely tired of it. I am stuck at work all day and wont have any time for android development or anything else. This snow sucks.

Started working on my no so secret project....

In my last post I talked about working on a secret project and working on my bank checking app. Well I started on the secret project. And it is an app for a website community about sonic satam. Those who are unfamiliar with that should check out the site http://sonicsatam.com its a fan community for the long since stopped show sonic the hedgehog. Commonly refered to as sonic satam. The app is on their site and in the market under FUS - Sonic Satam. Go check it out. Im still working on it and have a list of improvements for it.

As for the checking app, well I did a bit of work with it but not much. When I finnish the satam app ill get to it, then hopefully my mmorpg app.

Also I beat killzone 3 last night. Great game, can't wait till killzone 4 lol.

Killzone 3 and new app ideas

First off, killzone 3. That game is amazing!  I just got it last night on a whim, and let me tell you I am extremely impressed. I have played both killzone and killzone 2. They where both great and this third one just keeps getting better. Im not going to spoil it but its a great game that everyone should play. If you like these kind of shooting games lol. Now onto the new android app ideas. I know I have kinda been putting the mmorpg on the back burner but I don't want to rush it and I just want to make it awesome. So all good things take time, just hang in there. So one new app im working on is a bank checking account app and the other is kinda a secret surprise one. But they will both be great. Im excited for both. They should be done by next week hopefully. Maybe by then I would motivated enough to work on the mmorpg. See you later...

2 New Apps

well today i decided to make my twitter app into one of those pro feature apps. So i added a few ads to it, removed a few features and put out a free version and a pro key generator. The key generator is $0.99 on the market and generates a one time use key that will remove the ads and activate the pro features of the app. Then they could get rid of the key generator app if they want or keep it to remind them of what the key was. Also made a lite version of my webcam app i released yesterday so people could test it out before they buy. its limited to one cam, for ten minute intervals with ads. Again another day goes by without me working on the MMORPG :( really gotta get to work on that...

Did some more android stuff today

Fixed up the Spiceworks app a bit thanks to some helpful comments made by people who downloaded it from the market. So go check that out, i think it was a bug fix and a feature or two. Also released a new pp into the market, Webcam Viewer Pro. Wanted to do it for free but felt ill give it a go and charged $0.99 since i only have one other paid app in the market. So that's about it for android stuff today. Maybe tomorrow ill be motivated enough to work on the MMORPG app again. I have a list of stuff to do for it I'm just to lazy right now to do anything with it lol. But it will all get done, just in time. All things good come to those who wait. Development...

Today i worked on a lot of odds and ends parts to some of my apps. I did some maintenance work on my Virtual pet app, and put together a quick webcam viewer app for my own personal use. Also got the first quest completed on my new MMORPG app. So now its got some houses, a shop (unfinished), an npc with a quest, and two worlds. Still a lot to go on it though. Probably wont be done till the end of march. And even then it wont be "done". It will be under development forever lol. Hopefully i can get motivated and do more work on it throughout the month.

Im Back!

Vacation has ended and I'm back on the work horse.Last night i published an update the the virtual pet game, which included a few small bug fixes and added ads the the free version. If you purchase the Donate version the ads will be removed. Adding ads isn't something i really wanted to do but i figured i would give them a try. Hopefully some good will come from them. Also on a side note, the vacation was great! Now all i need to do is get some serious work done on my mmorpg.

Worked on my printers yesterday

at my home i have about 5 printers that i use. one for each computer. And one copier i just got from a hospital that was upgrading everything. So after about a week i decided i wanted to hook this copier up tot he network and use it as a shared printer. After countless hours of digging on the interwebs i found the proper program for printing to this copier. Toshiba Viewer. So i took one of the old machines i got from the hospital, formatted it, put some more ram in it and installed xp on it. Hooked it up to the network and ran a parallel cable to the copier. But that wasn't enough. My place is pretty big so we have two routers here. Some of the computers downstairs are not in the same wourkgroup as the ones closer to the copier which made things a bit harder. This led me back to the Internets to do some more searching for a possible solution. First there was Printer anywhere, which seemed ok but the only thing is that it always prints a cover page with a big ad on it and was just a waste. SO my next stop was a blog that talked about how to do it with dropbox. At first i was pretty surprised to learn this but hey it seemed pretty solid. So i went ahead and set it up. After setting it up it worked like a charm. All i is a vb script that monitors a folder in your dropbox, and as soon as a new file is put in there it sends it to the copier. This was working great till i realized dropbox does not yet support emailing attachments. This again led me to the internet for help. Where i found sites like airdropper and sendtodropbox.com. But they would only work with their folders and i need something to upload to the printQueue folder in my dropbox. The i came across MailDrop. Its a application you download which monitors your gmail inbox for any files with the label you specify then download and uploads the attachment to the folder of your choice on dropbox. And overall this was the best solution.

Site update today

worked on my website a bit today. Up until recently i have been pretty bad with keeping up with the account activations. I use to have to manually set up each persons blog and status update page. I did it that way because in the beginning I never thought it would have more than like five people. But i was proved wrong after about the first month. But never took action on it. so i just let the accounts keep piling up until i got feed up with them and decided it was time to automate the process. And thank god i did. So now that its automated i went back and set up the other twenty accounts i had missed. So now that that is all done i can take a step back and look at my greatest web accomplishment. My site. Honestly i cant believe i built it from the ground up. Its nothing professional and im sure if a real coder got behind the wheel of it they would laugh their ass off at it but im proud of it. Coming in knowing only html, and now just look at it. Best $10 investment i ever made lol

Not too much android wise today but

I did get some stuff done around the house. I recently aquired some old computer stuff from a local hospital that was upgrading its systems. One nifty item was a toshiba estudio20. Which I have been working on the past few days to get it working as a copier/fax/network printer. Took some time and some help from various web sources but I got it finally working the way god intended it to lol. So now I can rest peacefully.

And I have to say im pretty happy with it. Feel real bad for joe and I think they should have had Vito do something like stand up for him or something. But all in all it was pretty good. Also no free roam when you beat the game :(. There is a good moral in this game thought. Being a made man isn't always what it cracks up to be. Corny I know but I felt it needed to be said. Now onto some bigger news. I posted earlier about a massive improvement to how my site works. Before people would have to wait hours before they could fully utilize their accounts on my site. But that is no more. It is now completely automated. Thanks to the good people over at dream.in.code who helped me get it all straitend out. Thanks guys. Pretty big update to my site

For me it is anyway lol. Before today i had to manually setup everyone's accounts. I had to setup the status system and the blog system. and it was a bit tedious. More of a pain. But now i have it all set up to do it automatically. It took me some time but i got it! Thank god. That's one less thing i have to do now lol. Almost productive day

Well I guess it was kinda productive today. I got all my laundry done, did all my errands for the day, got some stuff done for work, and even cleaners the place up quite a bit. Only thing I didn't do was work on any of my apps. I really gotta do some work on them tomorrow. Also squeezed in some Mafia 2. And donnie, I promise I will get to your app first thing in the morning. Right now im exhausted.  Sorry man. Just hang in there.

Ok so i was lazy yesterday

yesterday all i did after i got home from work was play mafia II on the xbox. Lol i couldn't help it i got it on Wednesday and have been dieing to play it. So i took this opportunity to do so. So hopefully i can get some more work done on the spiceworks app this weekend. Maybe even release it to the market. Fingers crossed!

Busy day today

Unfortunately I haven't had any time for android development yet today because I've been too busy doing this. Took me 8 hrs. But its done thank god. Two colors white and metalic grey.

Just had a great idea for a spiceworks android app!

I've been using spiceworks for some time now and have always wanted a mobile app, but never thought to look for one. So today I went and did a little perusing for one. And to my astonishment,  none exist. I found posts saying some where under development but no actual app. So I think tonight I will work on one. Only problem is it will most likely be just a mobile link. My programming capabilities are severely lacking and im really only good at small things and using app inventor. So im going to fiddle with it tonight and post some results in the morning. Now don't expect a full fledged thing cause I saw that spiceworks is working on an iphone app so the android app can't be too far behind. But I just can't wait any longer. So ill mess with it tonight and get some results for you in the morning. Hopefully I can make this into something really good thays not just a link the the mobile site. Hopefully.

Its been a while. I guess its time for an update lol.

Alright well its been almost a while year since my last post. Not too bad I guess lol. Alot has happpened since then. A few new phones and a couple of website updates later. Basically since then I have taken up android development using googles app inventor. Its actually very cool. So I went and made a few cool apps then figured out how to upload the apps to the market. Also check out the updates I have done to my website at http://cmoney12051.com. currently im working on a pretty big app for android with app inventor. Im calling it cmoneys mmorpg. And basically it is a 2d mmorpg that I've been working on with app inventor. Now its obviously not going to live up to pocket legends but I hope to just show what app inventor can do if you get really creative with it. I have a very tiny demo on the market for free download. Its really just a prof of concept demo. It let's two people connect and fight. They can also enter and exit an empty shop. In the full versions which I will hopefully be releasing soon I plan on having a few more "worlds" and whatnot. Some npcs and quests. So just hang in there and check out my apps and site. I will also be putting up a few screen shots of the mmorpg soon. See you all later!
